What’s the fastest RODI system you guys have found? My RO Buddy from Amazon sucks….

Might get a BRS 4/5 stage. Do you think I can make use of the RO Buddy by running it into the waste line from the BRS to see if it will make water quicker or at least be less wasteful?

Also, do you think this RO system from my job is reef safe? lol

You run a booster pump? My BRS 4-stage makes just under 5 gal/hour, with the pump boosting it to ~83 PSI.

Not sure on the factory RO setup lol

yeah… not gonna trust it lol and no booster pump unfortunately

A booster pump will greatly increase your output. Cheaper to add one than to invest in a whole new system which likely would also have a slower output while un-boosted. I added 2 pressure gauges to my setup as well, one on the intake before the pump and one just after the pump - so I can review incoming PSI and adjust the pump correctly also.

To increase output rate you can increase pressure, get higher gpd membrane, increase the number of membranes, or increase water temp (a really bad idea).
I seem to make around 15g/hour with my current setup.
