I had some BRS points expiring so I went ahead and got new sediment filters and carbon blocks for my rodi unit. The current sediment filter is as white as the new filter...does it need to be changed yet? It’s a year old but hasn’t had much use.

I’ve made roughly 350g of rodi water with it if I had to guess. It’s a year old. For the time I was pregnant i only made 10g of top off water every 2 weeks. I didn’t do any water changes so no big amounts made during that time. It’s only a $7 filter, I was going to replace it when it came in but then I noticed it looks just like the new one. I’ve seen people with all shades of tan/brown/orange in their sediment filters and assumed mine would do the same but it’s still pure white. Might as well change them since I have them.
