Hello All,

I just purchased two 100 gallons vertical water storage tanks that were previously used for an RODI system. I also bought this pump to move the water between the containers.

I have no clue how to set up this system. Is there a tuturial on here that I can use that'll walk me through it?
That is alot of water on standby. How are you using it? Keep in mind that this motor is loud.

I'm wanting to have one tank be filled with RODI and have a float switch to have it shut off when full. When I want to set up plumbing to connect the two tanks and have that pump in the middle to move water from the RODI to the other tank to have it be constantly mixing saltwater to be ready when I need it.

What I don't know is A) How to set up the system to have it automatically shut off and B) How to set up the plumbing between the tanks.

There are many variables. You can fill both containers without a pump by letting gravity do that. 2 bulkheads, 1 in each container connected together by a pipe between the 2 bulkheadsat the top of your containers. Water fills one container then travels thru the pipe filling the second container. Your rodi water can be switched to shut off at that point. A powerhead in your salt water container can mix your salt and water. Once your salinity is where you want it the pump can do its job. Bulkhead at bottom of salt tank piped to the intake on the pump with the return piped to your tank. You Tube search automatic top off system how to and go from there. It can be done it is just a question of exactly what you need. I would use a submersible pump to mix my salt and then transfer it to my tank. Start searching you tube. I wish I could be more help.
