Hi everyone
I was looking at a 96 gallon trash can at Home Depot. It does not say what it's mad of, it is some clkind of fiber plastic. I was wondering if this would be ok to hold my ATO water, was wondering if it might leach something into my water

Is it a brute trash Can? Do you have a link to it on their website?

No it's not a Brute and Thanks everone for the links I have looked at most of these the cost is not bad but shipping is the same as the container or more this is the link from Home Depot I need around 100 gallons

You want something with the recycling code HDPE 2 or 5 these are food grade containers and do not leach chemicals back into food or water Home Depot carries brutes in the 55g size about $70 I know room can be an issue but 2× might be the answer here os a link on how to identify the HDPE

That looks like a standard roll away trash can give me about a half hour an I'll look atvours at work and see if I cab find the HDPE code cans come up from the curb today anyway. Also on HD's website it shows the person storing cat food in it....

Do yoy have a tractor supply feed store or agricultural supply around? A clean water/sprayer tank would work too...
Space is sort of a problem like I said I need at least 100 gallons yeah I have tractor supply close but they don't seem to carry a vertical tank and I sort of need it in my garage cause i am going to hook it up with a low sensor a high sensor and a solenoid to my Apex. if it overflowed ever it would not hurt anything and it's going to run 2 tanks for ATO

Right on we use a big rubbermade water trough for doing remote watering of trees at the farm I think it holds 100g even has a lower bulkhead already threaded. I'll check the roll aways here in a few layering up now.

You may want to take a look on CL for something like these if your on a budget as myself. Made from HDPE food grade, food safe used for Pickle, Pepper, Olive storage etc..... I found some locally for $18 bucks a piece and are 47 gallon each. You may want to search for storage barrel, pickle barrel, I have even seen them listed as a "prepper's barrel"
Below is an example pic from a Florida add showing some different sizes and prices.... Just food for thought for us economically challenged good ole boys !!
Yep I'm from KY LOL
