I'm really stressing about this. I ordered my brs 4 stage and hooked it up to my bathroom sink via garden hose connector to the faucet. I left it for a few minutes and I came back to a huge puddle under my sink. I shut it off and unhooked it. I went down stairs to see a small water spot on my ceiling about 3 feet off to where my sink is upstairs. The sink does not leak when run with out the rodi attached.

First off should I be worried that a pipe is now leaking or could the spot on the ceiling be from the puddle under the sink?

What kind of back pressure am I putting on the plumbing?

I live in a town house with neighbors below and to the side, and I don't want to cause leaks in their house too.

PLEASE HELP!

Well if there was a puddle under your hose attachment then I would say the water came from there.. Did you use Teflon tape?
The back pressure would be no different then the sink being off.. That's a non issue..

The water puddle probably followed the pipe down the whole and gathered on the drywall.. Just fix where you did your install..

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. Just wanted another opinion. I moved it to the kitchen sink and it is working much better now. The ceiling is drying up now and doesn't seem there will be any problems.

Some faucets are not designed to have backpressure on them, especially lower end bathroom faucets. This is very common.
