Yep those are the ones. There are other styles as well.

Any other specifics on your current unit?

What is the rated GPD on it, any photos?

Just want to verify your current system will support the add on.

Looks like you have it figured out. But if you end up wanting to get a separate unit, I have found the Kookermax AR122 to be very good at what it does, and very simple to use.

Thanks for the input!! although I’m starting to understand how to add on to the existing a little better. I don’t have it completely figured out because the current RO is in the basement. I really don’t feel like lugging buckets of water up the stairs to the tank level. So purchasing a separate portable unit where I can make the water on the same level might be better. Lol we shall see.

Can always use a pump to refill

Sure!! I can get some photos tonight..
The just called my provider and he found that is says it’s 14 GPD ... does that make sense. He wasn’t sure and has never been asked that before?

Also, I just wanted to thank you so much for all your insight and responses. You have gotten me the closest to understanding how to accomplish adding the DI canister given my current set up. It is very much appreciated.

If it is only rated for 14 which doesn't make sense you would want to get a different membrane.

No problem! Once you post those photos we can go from there to determine the best route forward.

I don't have a lot of confidence that he knew what he was saying or looking for based off the conversation. :) i probably have the manual somewhere. I will see if I can find that tonight too.

Sounds good! Thanks again.

I initially got a Koolermax system. It works just fine, however, I swapped out the filter canisters for BRS canisters.. Their filter media is cheaper
Thanks! that is helpful to know. One of the things I hadnt dove into yet was going to be the replacement costs of the filters and media.

More than likely you will be better off buying from someone else vs who you are buying from now.

Hahaha it’s an older gentleman that doesn’t run the sales department. He is super nice but not as knowledgeable on the the products themselves. When I looked at their website it looks like the Aqua system RO systems show 50 gallon per day.

Also Im pretty sure it has a booster pump to get it from the basement up to the sink and icemaker in the fridge. Not sure if that matters but I thought I would mention that.

I also use the 2 Larger brs DI canisters, But I also use the smaller ones still.

Is this it?
