Hi guys, this is probably an easy question to answer. My RODI system is slowing down (use to make 1 gallon in 25 min, now it takes 50 min). I've been keeping track of every gallon I make and I'm at 110 gallons of RODI water made. My DI tube is 70% brown and is still making 0tds water. What do you think needs replacing? For reference, I have the aquatic life RO buddie.

Cool or cold water "slows down" the water production. It happens to me every winter. What takes about an hour and a half in the summer now takes a touch over two hours in the winter (for five gallons of good water.) Now here's the important point....DO NOT USE ANY HOT WATER WHEN MAKING RO/DI WATER. Just accept the fact that if you live where your raw water temperature fluctuates when it's cold, it will take a bit longer.

Oh that's true! I always run my RODI on the cold tap and I started using it in July when it was hot here. Now it's -10c outside so that's probably it!

Should I run the RODI on both the hot and cold tap? I know hot water is bad for the filtration system though so mixing it wouldn't be good either right?
