RODI tds 2ppm

Ok that tells me that the membrane is doing its job just fine and it's great that you're running a booster pump.

The DI resin is not working. Are you sure it is mixed resin (both anion and cation)?

You said that you replaced the entire filter, so are you sure that the resin cartridge is seated correctly and that water is not bypassing the resin?
the resin im using is by aquatic life Color Changing Deionization Resin Mixed-Bed DI Filter Cartridge contains positive Cations and negative Anions. And the new RODI is by the same Aquatic Life brand with the same DI filter

Okay so that's the blue stuff that turns yellow I think.

Strange question (I don't know if it's even possible), but you have put the resin cartridge in with the correct side up, yes?. Sometimes there is an arrow that points up.

May not be exactly the case you have but I got brand new di resin for an old water general rodi unit. My unit is well over ten years old so I bought new pre filled di canisters for the top part. They filled the resin so I trusted it was good, well I was getting a reading of 0.02 . Double checked everything was right and seated properly, ran for hours and still saw the measurable reading. Well, there was about a tablespoon of space in the di resin compartments that came pre filled. Opened it up and put 1 tablespoon in , James it shut so there was zero space. Water is now 0.00

Yeap just checked and the arrow is poiting up on both RODIs

I'm wondering if there is a missing gasket or 'O' ring allowing water to bypass the resin.

Also, as said above, the resin must be tightly packed otherwise it may fluidize or channel which will reduce its effectiveness.

Running out of ideas, lol :)

Ok so i check the resin it it looks like it was not packet correctly. I was able to fill 3 spoons full of resin and i thought i had solved it for a moment. I was getting 0ppm for about 15min then it changed back to 1pmm. Gasket is install ed correctly i double check that.

What do you mean? im using Aquatic Life Color Changing Deionization Resin.

That’s what I was asking. That seems ok and unlikely to be confused with a cation or anion-only DI resin as those used individually will not reduce tds.
