If I run a long tube into my RODI system, will it affect the water pressure? I'm thinking of having my RODI close to my tank but the nearest sink or water line is a little far and I would need to run a long tube in order for it to reach

Yes, it does quite a bit actually. I have my RO/DI located in the garage and my fill line to my ATO is 65-ft. I was getting very long fill times so I put a pressure gage at the start of the line in the garage and the pressure was about 20 psi. The house pressure is typically 55 psi, which means my RO membrane only had 35 psi to work with. I changed the line to a 3/8" diameter line from the DI to the ATO and the pressure dropped to about 5 psi and my RO now has 50 psi to work with. My fill time for 10 gallons is now about an hour.

Thanks! That's exactly what I wanted to know. I'm trying to find the prime spot to put it. I was thinking the garage as well

As a test, I purchased a 100-ft roll of 1/4" from Lowes, put a pressure gage on the RO/DI end and just ran it across the house as a temporary setup. When I noted how high the pressure was, I purchased the 3/8" PE and it dropped substantially. I think pulled the 3/8" through the attic. I have 1/4"x3/8" fittings on each end. I am getting ready to run 100-ft of line to connect my salt mixing tank behind the back of the house to aquarium and 35-ft from the RO/DI in the garage to the tank in the back. I am trying to see if I can do this through my soffits instead as they don't get as hot as the attic, but the attic provides better freeze protection. Since Im in the attic, I have a few safety provisions. I keep a drain valve on the end to drain the line when it is not in use; This is to not have the lines pressurized when they don't need to be. I also pulled this line inside of a 1/2" PE landscape hose (drip irrigation) as an outer sleeve. and to hopefully avoid any rodents from wanting to chew through them. Also, if the line were to bust or leak, the water would run to the end and either leak in my kitchen or my garage, but not over any of the rooms in between.

I emailed bulkreefsupply and they said that many people have ran 50-100ft without pressure loss. I'll have to give it a try but you brought out a good point about it being hot and cold in the garage which may not be good for the unit.

I have pretty good water pressure, and a booster that came with my system. Judging by the responses in this thread, I should be ok with the 30 foot or so run from the RODI to the water storage in the garage. Thanks folks!
