Hey all,
I am ordering a BRS 75 GPD 4 stage unit after currently running an RO buddie. Wondering, since everything is simple Mur-loc connections, if I can take apart my RO buddie which is still full of life, and add any of the stages onto the BRS unit?

Like adding the first membrane before the whole 4 stages of the BRS unit?

totally doable but if your RO Buddie's filters are full they may end up spilling some of their waste into your new system.
If you know you have 'time' on your current filters; go for it!

I wouldn't run the water through 2 membranes in serial though; I think only in parallel. May want to search around the forums; there are a ton of threads on RO maintenance/setup.
