You sure ? I just spoke to BRS and they stated that the photo I attached is the correct way which is the one that gives you full pressure while the valve pointing in the direction of the black tube is the flush which is a small trickle .Closed, perpendicular, is to make rodi. Open, is for flushing the membrane.
edit. I guess I should add that you can verify this by noting the flow out of the waste line. A small trickle is normal under water making conditions whereas full pressurized flow is flushing.
Yes. Closed=Handle perpendicular to valve=correct position to make rodi. Open= handle pointing towards waste line= flush position. I did not say the photo was incorrect. I’m blind, so i can’t see the valve position in your photo. That’s why I just described how it should be, and how you could verify it.You sure ? I should have been more clear. Some people have a hard time noticing the difference in pressure on the product line, I don’t know why, it should be evident. There is no doubt on the waste line.Confusing lines from what @Zzyzx said to what BRS said.
Zzyzx is referring to the waste line, while BRS is referring to the product line.
The photo attached is the position if your making water(large trickle out of the product line, with a small trickle out of the waste line). The other position is for flushing the membrane(very small trickle out of the priduct line, with full pressure out of the waste line).
yes
