RODI Water Set up

Large tank on the way. Its a must I guess. And you can watch the game while the water slowly happens.

Do you have a laundry room or a utility room? Those would be my first choice for RODI placement.

Sounds like the garage may be the next best option if it's big enough to hold the water containers without displacing your car(s). Some people do put them outside, but I'm not in favor of subjecting the equipment to the elements.

So

what is the plumbing attached to?
I have a water softener the garage. Tap is on the softened softened side. In S.A TX the water is really hard which would be good except for all the other stuff. You can also do under the sink tap if you don't have a water softener. ...

I have been really pleased with my water mixing station. It’s in the garage and is tapped into my water softener plumbing. The waste water even drains out my water softener’s drain line. Also, the automatic hose reel is a must!!!

If you have cloramine you need the 6 stage IIRC.

I have 1ppm incoming cloramine city water (all cloramine, no straight chlorine). I have had no chloramine get thru 4 stages BUT out of fear I added a second carbon stage. All my research indicated an additional carbon stage is all that's needed. It was a simple add and only cost about $30 for canister and carbon block (I added a stand alone canister, put the sediment filter there and put another carbon filter where the original sediment filter use to go)
