Rodi water test

Hope your all well

Really simple question I have just set up my 1st rodi unit with tds meter at start and end the end part is showing 0tds start was about 250 ish is there any other check I would need to do before using it for my tank to make sure it's safe?

If your water coming out is "0" TDS, you should be good to go.

I would test the water for Nitrate.. just for the record.

I am still yet to buy a RODI unit but I buy local RO water and i've had some with 3 TDS with .25ppm Nitrate and 6 TDS with 4ppm Nitrate.

I’m very skeptical of that data. maybe the nitrate kit was not functioning. For a 6 ppm tds solution to contain 4 ppm nitrate would imply it is close to only being sodium nitrate, which is almost beyond the scope of reason coming out of an ro/di.

it is never, IMO, necessary to test 0 ppm tds water for nitrate.
