Greetings fellow automation fans,

I stumbled onto the Theiling roller matt filter unit over the weekend have been plagued with intrigue ever since. I am hoping someone(s) in our community could chime in and give some 1st person accounts of your experience?

Thanks,
GS

Of course. But I'm looking for something that is not potentially biased by the vendor. That's nothing against BRS, they are AWESOME... But they still have skin in that game.

Thx

I know this is an old thread but i bought one from BRS in January and have had it running for two months now. I can say its much easier than using filter socks! I dont have an issue with flow on a 90g, its set up in my basement sump. So far so good and im only a 3rd through one roll. Some have reported the motor going bad but mine is good thus far. Overall i like it!

I've sanded the black rollers where thye sit in the clear plastic, takes care of most of the problems and I leave my lids off, I run two with roughly 1100+gph each and probably change rolls every 6 months ish and cut the roll half way through and trash it for the weight on the motor as well.
