I have an eshopps rs-200 sump 5th generation. Does anyone have any experience with this particular sump with a roller mat? Looking for recommendations on a roller mat model and how to add it to my system. Thanks in advance

Retrofitting a sump seems daunting. I passed on it myself and bought a sump that has a fleece roller. Following to see how it goes

I retro fitted my sump (Synergy Reef CL-60). It really wasn't that hard. I even did mine in place. I had to cut out the filter socks holder (two 7 inch). What I will tell you is this. Measure, measure, measure.

I don't know what your skill level is with working with say wood. Acrylic is similar to wood. But much more finicky. With that said, most would call me a master wood worker. There is very little I can NOT do with wood. I make dovetail drawers, raised panel doors, etc.

Do you have the right tools for the job? After cutting mine with a fine toothed jigsaw. I would not recommend that for most. If I were to do mine over again, I would probably choose my rotary tool with a spiral bit (like a drill bit). Yes it will make a bigger mess (which is why I didn't choose it the first time), but you are also more likely not to crack or shatter the acrylic, as well as get a cleaner cut.
