Rollermat

Wondering if the rollermat should be implementing before entering sump. And is it better to use a smaller skimmer. I’m setting up a 180 gallon tank and currently have a skimmer rated for 120 gallon. It works great on my 90 gallon. But doubling size tanks. I’m wondering if the rollermat will be enough to subsequent the difference

Should be ok as far as catching some of the bad stuff, but I guess if you had a larger skimmer you would get the extra benefit by the bubbles/more air.
