Hello everyone. I am new to the hobby and R2R. I have been wanting to start up a tank now for 8 years.
I went last week and bought a 55 gallon tank and started really looking at the foot print. It just wasn't for me. I started looking around on craigslist and came across a 100 gallon complete setup. They where asking $500 but I got it for $250!!! It came with the tank, stand, hood, 2 duel T5's, sump, protein skimmer, UV filter, RODI system and a few different sized pumps.
My plains for the tank is:
Clean it up. It has been sitting for 2 years.
Re-Silicone the tank.
New plumping.
Put a new floor in the stand.
Paint the stand and hood.
Sold the sump to a friend. Build a refugium sump.
