Rookie J's 75 gallon

For now lol. He eats shrimp but since my peppermint and cleaner shrimp are big he can't fit them in his mouth. I feed him 3-5 ghost shrimp every couple days.

None of my power heads are on a wave maker.

So after a 2 week acclimation to the new radions things seem to be going down hill. Some things are bleaching like crazy when others are not. Lights are only at 75%. Not really sure what's going on.

Nice tank progression! I bet you cut back TONS on water evap lol. I don't miss my MH +fans haha. AWESOME scorpion. Wish I had the cojones to add something that cool to my tank :)

Thank you!

I only top off maybe a gallon a day. I'm glad I switched over even though there's been bumps in the road. The scorpion is actually pretty peaceful. I feed him ghost with a pair of tongs. After a few times he learned that there must be food when I put them in the tank lol.

So I was thinking I need a colorful fish. Options are a flame angel or a couple sunburst Anthias. What do you guys think ?

Well done looks great!

Flame angels are hit and miss in my experience with SPS, I personally avoid them, even though I love them. Can't really go wrong with anthias, just need to feed them often and cross your fingers until they acclimate to the system. Keep us posted on your choices!

Think I'm going with the sunburst as they are not that common. I have some at work that have been doing great for a couple weeks.

So I been looking into some Anthias and now I don't know what I want. It's a toss up between sunburst and blotched Anthias. What do you guys think.

Both are cool fish! I personally have never had either though, so I'm no help lol.

Talked to the whole saker and he said the blotched Anthias are not any harder the keep the any others. Said that they never have any of them die.
