Been lurking around the forums for quite some time, i thought that maybe its time to introduce myself and my tank,
well where do we begin?
for the most of my childhood, mom always hade freshwater tanks around the place. well it never caught my attention. Then two years ago my wife got a 30g freshwater tank and she was checking out a LFS for some new fishes and thats when i laid eyes on the first reef tank iv'e ever seen,
no doubt i was hooked! The colours , the movement, everything was so exotic and fresh!
so after reading... Alot!..(i have probably never finished a book before) i picked up this hobby, and all of a sudden i couldnt stop it was truly a wonderful time
so anyway i bought a standard 30 gal , a tunze9001 skimmer a heater a streamer and some live rock, and i was on my way towards my own reef stories. well it worked good for about 2 months then my first fish hade crypto (ich) so ttf and almost 3 months in qt, after they returned to the 30g, almost emediate the dino made its apperance, so this hobby has not been treating me nicely, though ive learned so much about it, now im on my 60 gal Innovative marine tank AIO and its been of to a rough start with the dino still from the old live rock and the diatom blom, so now im waiting for everything to stabalise so i can continue my journey towards a great reef tank ..
