The bad news is that this tank is going to be torn down in the near future....





But the good news is that it's because of an upgrade! I saw a tank for sale yesterday and jumped on it. I'm fairly confident that this is the best $75 I've spent!!!

My 2 year old has found a hiding spot in it already

Also grabbed a pair of false percs from the guy

It's a 72 bowfront. It has two canopies. The big tall one (that I plan on using so I can hang LED's in it), and a short one thats about 5" tall, designed for retrofit T5HO's. He also gave me several union ball valves, and quite a bit of plumbing that I can make work with a little redneck sense of style.

That was my only concern! Oh well. I'm probably going to set my 40 breeder up as a frag tank once I get this 72 up and running so I'll still get good pics of the frags.

Been a while since I updated this... For the most part, everything is doing well. I am down to one fish, which I am almost happy about. I am having some issues with my green millepora, which I think is most likely either a lighting or flow related issue, neither of which I plan on changing (so whatever happens, happens). Here are some pictures I took today -

Picture time..

Move this frag a few days ago, the color really came back on it. Good thing someone pointed out that different morphs like different places. Moved it down and in more flow, seems to indicate that it likes it.

No idea what these are... kind of a boring brown though

These came along on the piece of LR I got with my pistol shrimp in it

Some monster polyps.. these things are huge

And a 1" frag disc for size reference

Also showing some better color after moving... only this one likes more light and less flow...

No idea how this on is goin to grow... it's kind of weird looking right now
