I have my 75 gallon with a large sump and a QT in a 12x12 office I work out of daily. I was wondering how others get good air exchange?

I sometimes have issue with PH dropping until I open a window to for some fresh air.

Any way... Thoughts??

My system's in the basement, so CO2 drives my pH downward. I have a tube to the outdoors that runs to the air intake on my skimmer, and the window in the room the tank is in is always open at least a little. Before, the best I could get was a pH of 7.8-7.9...now with the above and running a 'fuge full of chaeto and caulerpa, it's 8.0-8.1.

Outside air intake for a skimmer is a great way to get more air exchange. I have a basement system and adding an outside air intake helps provide fresh air to the system. If you go this route I would ensure you put a basic air filter in place that has some filter floss and carbon for the air to pass through before it goes to the skimmer.
