Hi all!

My Rose bubble tip kept going into hiding deeper and deeper down in the rocks. I used to feed small pieces of silverside but it became hard to feed once it moved deeper into the tank. Also, it started looking more shriveled and was closing up more often(bothered too much by porcelain crab?).
I just flipped the rock around so that he's now on the top getting a lot of light and also drove away the crab.
I read that anemones prefer strong lighting and it seemed to perk up almost immediately and the bubble tips start coming back .
This happened about two days ago and now I see him expelling zooxanthellae. I read online that since he was moved from a low light to high light area he doesn't need that much zooxanthellae anymore, which makes sense.
My question: is it okay to let him settle down by himself or is there anything I should do (like turn down light intensity for a few days) ? Should I be worried about him at this point?
After I flipped the rock, he moved a bit towards the top of the tank but has settled there for 2 days now.

definitely acclimate him to the light a little better. They can expel zoos from too much or too little light. In this case I would say too much too fast is where I would think to start.

Thank you @Amoo . I turned down the lights to let him acclimate better.
He decided to walk around and found a nice spot slightly lower in the tank. Planted his foot in a deep crevice and opened up nicely against the light. Staying put for almost a day now and seems much happier now. Will update if anything changes!
@Fishfinder read online that it is the Zooxanthellae that's expelled dark and stringy but I am not sure. I'll watch him for a few days now.
Thanks everyone!

So I’m experiencing the same sorta deal although not a rose but mine has expelled zoos about three times but hasn’t moved and I haven’t changed the lighting I was wondering if my clowns just starting to host it may cause it to do so? Also is it unhealthy for it to be loosing the zoos so fast I don’t want it to become bleached…
