I bought a EBT last Monday. It was shipped to the store, left in the bag until picked up that evening. Acclimated into tank. When received it showed NO tentacles. Just a pink blob. It latched onto the rock immediately. It will flatten out, then shrink into itself, then stand up. But no tenacles. Is this normal? It was supposed to be a medium size anemone.

Can you post pics? It might just be still closed up.

Here are a couple of pictures. How long does it usually take for the tenacles to come out?

It looks bleached. I know someone @Bob Loblaw who is an anemone expert, so let's get his input.

It's been starved, in sub par water, and bleached. I'd spot feed Ova with a plastic syringe until tentacles come back. Probably going to have to light acclimate. I wouldn't buy anything else from that vendor. That should have never been sold.

What is Ova? How do I light acclimate? I have tried leaving light off for 2 days, no change. Then tried low level light for a day (mostly blues), no change. I tried to spot feed it reef food ( thawed frozen shrimp type stuff).

Light acclimating is slowly acclimating(weeks) it to your standard intensity. It likely has been kept in a system with inadequate lighting and will not be able to handle high PAR/PUR. I wouldn't go with frozen shrimp unless you can shave it. The nem is weak and needs easily digestible foods, i.e. Ova. Cyclops can be substituted for Ova but I've found it's harder to work with.

I have powdered zoo plankton. Would that work? Wouldn't shutting lights down low hurt the other things in the tank? My zenias aren't doing well since I started working with this EBT.

Your tank looks cloudy. How long has it been setup? Have you tested water parameters recently?

Are you sure the nem isn't starting to die and break apart? If so, get it out of your tank ASAP.

Just my bedroom lighting. Water is clear. Between phone n bedroom lights pics always look bad. I have no idea about it dying. I've never had one. Always bought one already established at store, never ordered. It keeps opening the top n tgen going back down. Sometimes it stands up n opens, sometimes it looks like it's flat n shriveled up.

this photo should look better....

Wouldn't think a powdered food would work too well. If' you're using "supermarket shrimp" try shaving a paper thin sliver about the size of the nems mouth and spot feed. If using frozen mysid, try spot feeding just the tail section. You're going to need to use a pipette or tweezers to get the food in the nems mouth since it doesn't have tentacles/spirocyst don't fire. Not particularly difficult but takes some practice to get it down.

The BTA appears to be on a flat rock just under the clown in the last pic. It should really be in a crevice where it can hide its foot. Not the end of the world but it would feel more secure which may aid in recovery.

How do I get it to move, it's attached itself to the rock there? Should I move it to a hospital tank until it's tenacles come out?

If you can get a finger or credit card under the foot they're not too hard to pry up. Not sure I would recommend moving it in this case. For future BTAs, try to release them in the tank near a crevice. The tentacles have to re-grow.
