I did that yesterday So hoping it comes out soon lolTry lowering your lights a bit if you haven’t already. They need an acclimation period.
I wouldn't mess with the lighting too much. If you turn down the light and it finds a spot it likes, it's most likely going to be on the move again when you turn the lights back up.I did that yesterday So hoping it comes out soon lol
I turned the blues up a little and other colors down a little. Just by 20%. It’s a new light so I haven’t fully figured out how to set it up how I want or for what’s best for the coral. I posted a separate thread for help with that. I’ll prob watch some videos later too on setting it up.I wouldn't mess with the lighting too much. You'll get a lot of conflicting information on feeding them. Some say they don't need direct feeding and they'll catch whatever fish food they can, others swear by feeding them multiple times a week. I sit kinda in the middle, I feed mine little pieces of raw shrimp 2-3 times a month. I wouldn't feed it until it comes out of hiding though, don't want to give it a reason to stay hiding lolWhen should I try and spot feed him? And what food would be best? I haven’t had one in so long .. spot feed 1-3 times a week?
I have an AI Hydra 32 on it now. But I can’t seem to figure out how to have just white for an hour or two and blues after with a ramp down and up. The app I used for a light a while back was more simple to use lolI turned the blues up a little and other colors down a little. Just by 20%. Lol yeah like no reward until it come out so maybe it’ll stay outYou'll get a lot of conflicting information on feeding them. Oh wow those are beautiful! I have a 25G JBJ Biocube. I’m not sure how many inches off the water but I used an AI Flex Arm Mounting Kit. I do have other small corals in there. Not glued down anywhere in case the bubble moves and to see if they like their spots. Do you have any opinions on reef roids? I’ve been wanting to try it but have only heard a couple opinions lol.Hello not sure what size tank you have but I run an AI Hydra 32 over one of my nem tanks and these are my settings.
I would not use these settings for much of anything other than nems, and my light is 14" off the water.
That little moon symbol in the upper right corner will allow you to set an "auto acclimation" done by the light.
In regards to feeding, I have not directly feed any of my nems in over 10 years.

I use it occasionally in some other tanks. Sometimes ill feed it to NPS and acans. It is notorious for raising PO4 and nitrates, but nems don't mind that one bit. The nem should settle in time, if it were me id just let it be for a while.Oh wow those are beautiful! I have a 25G JBJ Biocube. Ooh interesting.. I don’t really want to do anything that may cause a spike.. or affect other corals. I’ve just heard it really helps with growth and colorI use it occasionally in some other tanks. Never lol seriously they only need light. but you wil know when he is happy, feed when he looks happy if you want. They hide under rocks when lights are to bright. I keep mine on 10% B and 1% W and growth is through the roof. When should I try and spot feed him?
