Woke up to my gyre making loud noise this is what's left of the nem. Would this thing be able to heal or is it toast. It doesn't look like its melting or turning black it still has color, and is meaty and very tuff. All inverts look fine it was a very small rbta about 2" fully open. Any hope? He only lasted 1 night :( now I know I have to build a cage around my gyre if this one is able to make it or I get another.

Noticed last night that my gyre isn't moving as much water on one side vs the other took it apart and a rotor bushing seems worn was the side I found this guy on and the bushings are out of stock [emoji19]

As long as the remains are red, 90% of the time my RBTA's have recovered. Very hardy Nems.

I was never a big fan of the gyre. When the initial praises started, I knew that with the power it pushed, it would suck up a Nem regardless of what people were speculating about it. Seems to be a fairly good wave maker though. It's just not Nem proof.
