Rose Bubble Tip?

Just wondering. I've never seen it with the tentacles inflated. Doesnt look much like the Liveaquaria pics.

I don't think I've ever heard a definitive answer as to why they inflate the tips like that and why they don't. Unless it's just a different anemone altogether, I'm guessing mood swings. ;)
 
Mine will bubble up when I have less flow on them. When it is a higher flow environment, mine would get more stringy. And I mean from day to day this could happen. especially as when I take a tank to a school, it is low flow (I leave powerheads out for more visual ability) and so the bta will bubble nicely. The one in may main tank depends on time of day with my flow.

Not sure this is true of every bta or just mine though. I am still new to nems. Only been having them a bit over a year and a half.
 
I have had BTA touching each other one with bubble tips the other right next to it with no bubbles. I have never seen or heard a valid reason for this phenomena.
