Rose or Rainbow BTA? id

Was sold to me at my LFS as a rose BTA for 60$ but looks like it could be a rainbow to me . Not sure .

Looks like allot of blues on, let's see it with the whites on. My rose, like the one in my avitar looks that way with blues on. Either way it's a beautiful Nem!

I will take more pics with whites on when im done cooking breakfast , it split last night so i have 2 now

Awesome! I started with 1 in March now we are up to 7. Crazy!

Im not sure if i should keep or sell it , as you see i only have a 20 gallon tall and its a mixed reef , i do have them on their own island but they can always move off their island at anytime even tho they have not done so yet , so im not sure what i should do lol

That's awesome. Check your parameters just in case. Usually (not always) , nems split due to stress

Since it split so soon, either it's been well fed before and/or stress from your tank.

Some just tend to spit more than others. I've only had one split for me out of 25... tsk

I think its just a rose , it just has nice colors when the blues are up .

I do feed it krill once a week

Roses tend to be more uniform one color... and usually mostly reddish pink. But, it's a fine line between the two sometimes. Not really a hard and fast rule unless we're talking high end named stuff

Since it split I would rehome one and keep one. Sale it or give it to a buddy. You could always buy a new fish or save the money for a larger tank down the road. I'm donating a couple to a school and giving one to a buddy. I might sale one or two down the road. I have been lucky and over the years had them stay put once the found their spot in the tank.
