Rouge hermit ate the mushroom skirt

I believe my Scarlett hermit crab ate the skirt on my bounce mushroom. Anyone experienced anything like this. Saw him two consecutive day on top of the mushroom. The first day I thought he was cleaning some algae on the plug. The second day I notice the mushroom deflated and missing the skirt.

Trying to decide if I should move it to the frag rack or get a shroom box, dip in revive, open to suggestions.

you sure it wasn't just that the crab was walking on the coral which in turn bothered and stressed it?

That could be but looking around the edge it almost looks like it was cut. Now I wonder if it is just stressed. The crab was on top of it for awhile and I did see this crab eating pieces out of a pipe organ so I assume ate a chunk of the mushroom too.

might not be a scarlet hermit then
