Getting a custom acrylic tank made from James (Envision). He asked if I wanted round overs on the vertical edges and also the top eurobrace edges...

Now I have seen the vertical rounded edges and thought they look good.

But I have only seen a couple examples for rounded edges on the Eurobrace like those zero edge tanks...they almost look like a bubble, kinda strange.

Is it best just to get ‘squared’ edges all around, or does it not matter? Any anyone have pics of a rounded eurobrace?

My main concern is crazing, I don’t want any of it. I know James is top notch and wouldn’t be asking if he thought it would craze but any thoughts would be nice.

When I build I round the edges on any spot that you'd reach into and potentially scratch yourself, it's a simple job with a router no crazying.

He said he was rounding those regardless.

I’m talking about the outside edges of the Eurobrace...

Zero edges tank (focus on edges on the top, technically not a Eurobrace but just imagine holes in the top), they’ve got a round over I believe (unless they just bent the acrylic which I’ve been told is bad for the structure)....
