Added rowa GFO about a month and week ago is on the 60 gallon cube my phos. are at 0.2 , I figure it should be depleted by now , my question should I replace it or just keep an eye on the phosphates the tank is only going on two months . No algae thank God but I do have a large eel and two clowns in the tank which I haven't been able to take the eel out its been with me for ten years in 150 gl which I had to tear down due to moving to an apt. am getting out of topic is it necessary to keep the GFO on all the time or replace as needed

Why did you run before?
If it brought down your po4 level, then you may need a maintenance dose of 1/2 what you ran before.
Do not let po4 get to 0.

I added it on my LFS advice he said it was time to add GFO is kept it at .2 and no I won't let it go to 0 its happened before on my other tank and I got Dinos. on your question is a two month old tank don't know why he told me to add GFO but am going to remove it today is already been there for a month so I was thinking to add phos guard as needed
