So my phosphate are around .13 and I recently bought some Rowaphos but Jesus Christ am I really this slow for the love of the hobby I could not understand these instructions. My goal is below .07 but not drastically I want to use Lil bits just for maintenance sake since I will soon be adding reefroid at night for my sps. I will be using the mesh bag in the sump, currently I have a bag of Red Sea carbon.

Tank is a 75g with about 15 fishes 3 more will he added this weekend 30g!sump with about 110-20lb of LR 80lb of livesand and skimmer, I run a simple setup it’s been up for about 3 years this tank.

How many scoops should I add to the bag to just lower it a tad more and continue doing this but at a melase rate super slow to Achieve .07 or below.

Just start off with 1/4 of a cup with Rowa, and take things from there. No rush and bring down your phosphates, nice and slow.
I'd really recommend shimmering Rowa in it's own reactor.

How can I tell when it’s depleted ? Or should I just replace every certain time?

I been considering a reactor I have one but Its for bio pellets the aquamaxx. Will a reactor extend the life or how often I have to replace it

Thank you

If you run it in it's own reactor you can tell when it's been depleted by testing the output water from the reactor, and a reactor can help you determine and adjust the collect flow rate. I still only use 1/2 half cup at a time and just recharge more often.

I've been using this reactor for along time with no complaints.

A biopellet reactor may grind the Rowa into small fines, but really don't know.
