Hey reefers just wanna get some opinions on rowaphos. I’m struggling with phosphate was looking at trying rowaphos. Just wondering how long it last and is it worth getting over other methods of phosphate remover

Yes, it depends how much po4 you are trying to remove and how much PO4 you are adding to the tank via food, it could last 1 day or a week or longer. You test to see when your PO4 starts going back up, then you know it’s likely exhausted, so you replace it.

I just started using it. I have not collected alot of data on it, but in the almost 3 months I have been using it, it needs to be replaced every 5-7 days in my on my 100 gal mixed reef tank. I feed alot.
It totally works to get the phosphates down, and doesn't affect my animals like the Phosphate Rx I used before. Although tbf to phosphate Rx, as long as I don't dose what they recommend for my tanks size, the animals are ok...except for drunk snails falling all over the place.
