Ordered a reactor for my sr60 along with some rox.8 carbon and reg gfo well I didn't look at amounts needed but says not to have more than a 50/50 mix and you should always have less gfo

Well with the rox.8 I only need 5 tbsp but with the gfo I need 12.5tbsp (3/4 cup) (based on 50 gallons)

So do i just go with that and tumble the carbon a bit and go through it faster? Or is the rox.8 hard enough to take the tumbling with the gfo?

You don’t want to tumble them together.
If you only have 1 reactor, they should be mixed.
I would start by reducing the gfo some and see where that puts your PO4.

You’ll not want to tumble the carbon.
Add gfo according to the numbers you get on tests. It’s not as efficient when it’s not tumbled , but does still work. When I do use gfo, I actually just rinse what’s in the bag already and add more.

I'd go easy on both. They can rapidly soak stuff up and shock your corals. Run a 50/50 blend at a quarter dose. In a Week remove it and add new, use a bit more if needed at that point. Test your water after the week for PO4. This will give you an adjustment of how much to use.
