I’ve had this fish a few weeks, captive bred Biota. Just noticed yesterday the top of lip is white and kind of flat looking. Possible injury? The fish likes to go under and up inside rock at night. Hard to get picture, he’s quick. First pic shows the white on top of lip, the white follows the entire top of lip. I don’t see any other spots or anything on it. Any suggestions?

Pics are extremely dark in blue lighting and fuzzy to clearly see but may be mouth rot or fungus. Treatment in quarantine setting would be Seachem Kanaplex or neoplex or Maracyn 2

White light, no flow, moved his rock so he’d come out. Hopefully these are clearer.

Could be an injury, what other fish are in with it?
Did you get the fish straight from Biota, or did it go into a dealer's tank first?
In the last image, it looks like the white line is above the jaw, is it like that in person?
Is the fish still feeding/acting normally?

White Wyoming clown, 2 mandarin. Purchased and shipped from Biota. Still out swimming and eating, anyways I think he’s eating. These pics are much clearer, looks like he has more white areas starting. Lower fin has a white attachment. Next step? I have a PetSmart or Petco and hour away, anything past these two has to be mail ordered. @Jay Hemdal

Looks like Maracyn2 is discontinued. More pics added of fish

The damage to the dorsal fin also points to some injury from another fish - did it arrive like that? If not, I would blame the clownfish.

Maracyn 2 is Minocycline. If you can't get that easily, you could try other broad spectrum, gram negative antibiotics - Neoplex or Kanaplex. Just stay away from "tonics", they are not true antibiotics.

Okay, driving in to find it. If not I ordered kanaplex from Amazon but it’s a Thursday delivery. Should I remove him from DT ?

Thanks for the help. I don’t use nets unless they’ve died. I don’t know how the caught him to ship.
Yes- the nets from shipper

Oh wow, I didn’t know that.
Believe me- I owned an LFS and have been to wholesalers and they are L E S S than gentle with capture.

Yes, you would need to dose antibiotics in a separate treatment tank.

Couldn’t find any of the above mentioned myracin2, kanaplex , etc. in PetSmart or Petco
I did find erythromycin which showed both symptoms on the box. (I have kanaplex showing up on Thursday). Plan is moving him to a different tank and dosing erythromycin. Water will be part DT water and part freshly made. Question is will an air pump and stone work or do I need to use a sponge filter? If it’s the sponge filter do I toss the sponge when done or just clean it? Heater and temp monitor. @vetteguy53081 , @Jay Hemdal

Oh wow, that’s crazy. No patience on their part.
Yeah, theyre bagging dozens of fish and trying to get fish to an airport
