i didn't know where to post this so here goes
I always check my tank everyday. I don't see all the fish all the time until I go to feed them.
But the last couple days ( and twice at night) I have noticed my royal gramma lying on my rock. I didn't see him before until I saw him at night now I see him during the day is this something I should about?
Also he has one or two white spots on him ( no other fish has anything and nothing has been added to the tank except Duncan coral a week ago) they look like its normal because it looks like he has some spots in his eye

Just worrying he's one of my favorites

Are there any other fish in the tank?

Yes there are two clowns. Pajama Cardinal fish, a dottyback, diamond watchman goby and a yellow watchman goby. After the diamond watchman ( who hides the majority of the day the royal is the biggest in the tank

What size tank? I'm surprised that the Dotty & Gramma are still alive as they are not very compatible. Could be the Dotty's getting the best of the Gramma and stressing him out.
Gramma's are cave dwellers. Usually excavating an area beneath the rock of their choice. They'll then defend that area viciously.

Believe it or not they get along fine. I really don't know for sure if it is a dotty back I was told it was a strawberry pseudo chromis ( which might be the same as a dottyback.
The chromis does hide in the rocks. I have a lot of caves and hiding places. The place that he "hides" is a little cutout away from the front of the tank
It's a 45 gallon tank by the way
