I am noticing that my royal gramma and clownfish are acting weird, they are both in the far left of my tank and dont venture from it really , they swim up and down and from front to back of the tank but wont explore the middle or the right side of the tank for anything other then feeding time.

Is this normal behaviour? I dont have a wave pool or water conditions that I would deem uncomfortable, their just being weird ?

IMHO this is not weird at all for the clown fish. Some are VERY territorial and tend to stick close to one area in the tank... especially if they are a mated pair. However, some clown fish do wander all over the tank just like most other fish.

As for your royal gramma... maybe it's just a copy cat or considers the clowns to be extra close friends! ;)
