Royal Gramma and Ich?

Just got this fish and didn’t look close enough at the store. Now that it is home it looks like it might have ich. Can anyone confirm?

I see spots, but the photo is terrible. Not definitively cryptocaryon at the moment.

After magnifying your photo, I'd say the fish has a 99% chance of having Marine Ich. It has spread over a serious portion of the fish. Treat immediately. Best of luck.

I can't emphasize enough to take time in buying a fish. Closely inspect it; demand to see it eating (buy or have the same food(s) on hand); and discuss the shop's guarantee.

Yeah I usually inspect before buying. Of course this time I did not and it’s coming back to byte me. Hopefully I can keep the other fish that is with it in QT from getting it.

Tough to say, but it is likely ich. One way to help confirm is to watch the spots - if they come and go, change in location and in number (maybe even going away for a day or so) then that is likely ich. Also, spots on the fins and not just the body are also an indicator of ich.
