Anybody have any experience with whether or not royal grammas and lantern basslets are compatible http://www.marinecompatibilityguide.com/lanternbass/royalgrammabasslet says no because that are in the same family.

They look different, hang out in different areas and behave differently so I would think they would be fine together but I don't know if that matters or not.

They would be in a IM 40 so not a ton of space.

If anyone has any thoughts or experience I would like to know.

Cheers Jack

If introduced at the same time I don’t think it would be a problem. Royal grammas are very peaceful and shy when first added so as long as the lantern didn’t cause any problems I don’t think the royal would do to much. I’d definitely have a plan B though if things went south.
