Royal Gramma body sores?

Got this guy a few weeks ago, noticing sort of lesions popping up on his body? Light colored in some areas, kind of gray colored in others. Can’t distinguish any spots like ich, thoughts? Only other tank mates are a pair of clowns in a 75 gallon. Afraid it might be velvet and a bacteria infection but feel like velvet would have spread to clowns by now. He’s keeping that right fin tucked in, mainly getting around with the left. Still has plenty of appetite. Probably can’t catch him to QT, any way around that?

White-ish/grey areas like those should be viewed with great suspicion. Could be a bacterial infection. Bacterial infections are usually a secondary condition caused by something else like injury, illness, poor water quality, etc. Have you noticed any aggression in the tank? Clowns can be real nasty.
