As long as you have sufficient rockwork / plenty of caves, I wouldn't worry too much. Royal grammas want to stake out a cave or cave system as their "home base" and then enjoy wandering around rockwork. I have one in a 30 gallon and while he performs threat displays if he's in "his" cave and other fish wander too close, I've never witnessed him be aggressive towards others in the tank.

Ok thanks, and ideas as to what I can keep with the two I currently have?Sixline are very aggressive/territorial in a small tank in my experience. Royal gramma are all show and if bullied may hide and eventually perish.
For damsels look at the more peaceful guys like yellow tails. Domino and striped are evil.I had a damsel but needed to rehome it for aggression so maybe a gladiator clown. Thank you!
Mine was a yellow tail that I paid $5 for ended up killing a watchman goby and ocelarisFor damsels look at the more peaceful guys like yellow tails. Domino and striped are evil.
Would a cardinal of some sort do fine?I have a 30 gallon with a canary blenny and a six line wrasse. Would it get along ok with them?
Doable but there is still a high potential for the wrasse to get mean in only 30 gallons. Give lots of hiding spots.Would a cardinal of some sort do fine?
How interesting, anything you know of that would handle him on?I currently have a Royal Gramma, with 2 PJ Cardinals, an Exquisite FireFish, 2 Snowflake Clowns, and a Diamond Goby with 0 issues. Had a Chromis in there for a bit too. Gramma is all show you’ll see them open there jaws real wide and make a run only to dart away at the last second. Challenged my FireFish for about a week and then lost interest without a fight.
Sorry typo lol. Do you know of and fish compatible with my wrasse and blenny? Not sure I understand that last question.
