Trying to figure out what might be wrong with my royal gramma. Got the fish about 2 weeks again and notice the scales on one side were damaged clear. I have two clowns in the tank that had white stringy poop so I have been deeded the three with food mixed with metroplex and focus.
is it brooklynella? Or fin rot?

Sorry about all the typos
Again should read ago
Deeded should be feeding

I did a FW dip for 5 minutes and did not notice any fluke

Mine developed something very similar after I got it. I assume that it was probably from scraping against rocks, or possibly a sting. It healed up in a few weeks and has been fine ever since.

Okay thanks for the reply. I was thinking it might be a injury also because he likes to cram inside of small holes in the rock work

I feel like these fish have a bad time with stress. When I bought mine it looked fine at the LFS. When I brought it home it looked like hell for 2 weeks in QT, but then seemed to chill out and looked much better.
