I just purchased a royal gramma yesterday. The fish seemed to hide most of yesterday. It did eat the first day I got him. Today he has been out and about and ate again. I did notice he has a white spot on his head cheek and rear fin. Is this ich I’m worried about? Should I do anything I just have 2 clowns I’ve had for coming up on 3 years don’t wanna see them get sick. Any ideas?

One white spot could just be a speck of sand stuck to him. I wouldn't worry unless you see much more than that. The reclusive behavior is normal for a gramma.

Not saying you don't have a problem here, but so far not enough evidence to make that determination.
