We’ve had him about 2 weeks in this tank. We have two bigger clowns, but they are the most docile clowns I’ve seen, they swim with the gramma and don’t bother him during feeding,?so I don’t believe they have been nipping him.Welcome to Reef2Reef!
That could be from the anemone, but it isn't from running into rocks, grammas are good at swimming around rocks without getting injured.
How long have you had this fish?
Jay
Just the top of his head the other side is clear. I feel like just today the top of his head was pink in color and now it’s more this white color. Could he have gotten stung again?Won’t be from rocks. Could be anemone or could be disease. Is anything on the other side of his body?
No, the clowns would nip his tail if they were being aggressive. Hopefully this is just from tangling with the anemone, but it could be a generalized bacterial infection. The fish's normal behavior mostly rules out protozoan infections. We’ve had him about 2 weeks in this tank. Might be a bacterial infection. Since it’ll be tough to catch him and treat in a QT, I would just keep an eye on him.Just the top of his head the other side is clear. I feel like just today the top of his head was pink in color and now it’s more this white color. Could he have gotten stung again?
