Does the RG have a low-flow hole to hide in?

Behavior is not odd, they like to hide and pop out.

yeah mine hugs the back glass like that behind the rocks all day, its normal.

That wouldn't be considered normal for my RG, since he has plenty of rock work to hide in. What does your scape look like? Looks like he doesn't have a home to go to lol.

The one in my system is always out and about but it is the only fish in a 15 gallon tank and it eats well.

Seems to have found a home in this cave..and a roomate! (Excuse the diatoms) Sharing a burrow occupied by a purple fire fish, which was actually dug by my tiger shrimp before any fish were introduced. Crazy!
Still havnt seen him eat in DT but when i did feed he seemed interested and was popping out of his hole. Hopefully just getting accustomed to the new home.
