Anyone have any luck keeping any of the small anemone shrimp with a Royal Gramma? The 101 Best Nano species book says they aren't a threat to inverts but I've read post that they say have killed shrimp. Just wondering they will 100 percent kill small shrimp or if it's on a case by case basis.

No problems with my two cleaner shrimp. I added the shrimp before the gramma. Shrimp were small when added. Good luck.

I've kept them with peppermint shrimp with no problems. The one I had was very friendly with all its tank mates.

If the gramma is small, periclemines shrimp should be ok, sexy shrimp will may or may not be safe. If the shrimp are hosting with an anemone they will be safer.

Thanks for the feedback!

Ah, my anemone shrimp are the little sexy shrimp. I don't have an anemone so they just kind hop around the tank from coral to coral. I've been looking for a small Gramma but I haven't seen them sold smaller than about an inch and a half yet. If I find a tiny one maybe I'll take a chance. Thanks!
