This afternoon Thanos my RG was acting a bit strange. Has anyone seen this before?

I just fed him and he came off the branch and started eating as normal. A few weeks ago I did have an issue with some new fish I tried adding. That thread can be found HERE

I recently did a Triton test and results can be found HERE

Yesterday I did a 15% water change as suggested by the ICP report.
Today I tested dKh: 7.3 and dosed 2 Part
This weekend I will do 15% water change and test all parameters again.

I’m not sure what behavior you are referring to. If it is a new addition, mine took 2-3 weeks before it was out and about more than hiding. If your asking about it hanging out under the rock that’s branching out it’s normal. I have a crevice in my rock work that mine lays in even during the day, when it’s not out and about.

I've had Thanos for about a year now. I have never seen him curled up like a banana on this branch.

He's either in the water column swimming, under the branches on the window pane closest to me or in his cave where he sleeps.

I also notice he is breathing a bit heavily and gills open wide.

Well now I’m worried it’s a disease since you stated you recently added fish, especially if they weren’t properly quarantined. I won’t even pretend to be a fish disease expert. We need a fish medic to jump in here. In the meantime keep it well fed and if you have it on hand soak in Vitachem and Selcon before a fish medic can jump in with a diagnosis and treatment. Also they will want a better picture under full white lights and better yet a video. Best of luck I wish I could be more help.

You were great thank you.

He's swimming around now and eating as normal. I'll continue to monitor.
