Trying to get my gramma so I can QT it

Does this look like tail rot ? Flame angel chases sometimes.

+1 ^^^ Keep a close eye on the area for discoloration indicative of a bacterial infection setting in. Do you have antibiotics like Kanaplex, Furan2, NFG, Sulfaplex (Triple Sulfa) just in case?

I have general cure. I believe it covers that. Gonna be hell to get him out. He loves the holes my diamond goby has made under rock.

General Cure is used to treat internal parasites (worms) and flukes. Always good to have on hand a good wide spectrum antibiotic as listed in previous post.
