Royal gramma with white mouth

I’m sure I’ve seen posts on white mouth related Diseases but I can’t find them.
Anyway, title says it all. Have had gramma about a week. Big. Fat. Good appetite. Still very skittish and absolutely will not let me get a decent pic.

20g qt at full dose copper now. Bare bottom. Heater. HOB filter. Lights.

I wouldn’t be surprised if your royal gramma got a little injury while being caught or on something in the tank. As you know the royal gramma has a way of opening its mouth wider than most. If it did get an injury the protective slime coat may have opened up a bit letting in a fungus that often appears like a cottony tuft. Keep your qt water quality good and this should probably go away.

Personally I think Seachems Kanaplex and Focus combined with a teaspoon-tablespoon of thawed frozen works well and is easy.
