Royal gramma

Does this guy (or gal?) Look ok? I had parasites in the tank so I'm a bit concerned. Hides more than he used to.

I also have a hair algae problem. Worrying about the fish first.

I have a gramma and mine hides more than she’s seen. It’s hard to see if there are spots or irritation on the flesh from the photo but, considering you had parasites and are having an algae problem I’d say it’s time to start a string of proper water changes. I don’t know much but it’s the path I’ve heard others take with something like this. Wishing you best of luck!!

I am no expert, but I am guessing the experts will ask for a better picture. That picture is not very clear and there are white spots all over, either in water or on the glass.

Are there any other symptoms? scratching, breathing fast, not eating, etc.

You mentioned parasites. Any idea what kind and what did you do to eliminate them?

Anything new added to the tank recently?

My glass isnt clean. Working on it, but the build up is thick and it's taking a while.

I'm not sure what I had. It killed a tang. I ran 2 courses of prazipro per instructions, and things seemed ok. All the fish look relatively healthy (but a bit stressed from the prazi). They are out an about other than RG. When I feed they all go nuts eating.

What kind of tang did you lose and can you describe the symptoms and appearance prior to death?

There may be ich on the fish but it's really hard to see in the pic.

Ich is possible. Has been seen in my tank in the past. It's a big enough tank that pulling the fish would be a huge effort, beyond what I can do at the moment.
