Hey Im Completely new to the saltwater seen I currently have a fluvel evo 13.5 that has been cycled for a month. Just gone to check on my tank as I do always when I go to bed and couldn't see my grammar in his little hide and saw he got stuck in the sump grill unfortunately he is dead and absolutely gutted this is the 1st fish I've lost test were all done today 0 ammonia 0 nitrite ph 8 salinity 1.026 nitrate between 5 and 10 I'm thinking he was already dead and has been sucked in there but was hoping someone could possible confirm that would be the case I have the grill set to wide open I have a 2x juvenile clowns in there who have never bothered him thanks in advance

Hard to tell what happened. Fish do have heart attacks, strokes, etc. just like we do. That being said, clowns can be real tough on other fish. A lot of it happens when lights are out.
